F/W 1995 Thierry Mugler Black Iconic Sculptural Archival Runway Jacket

Iconic and collectible Thierry Mugler black jacket from the Fall Winter 1995 "Cirque d'Hiver" Haute Couture runway, celebrating the brand's 20th anniversary.  This extremely rare tailcoat style jacket features an architectural construction with tailored paneling that contours the bodice, creating the avant-garde signature Mugler look. Curved seaming at the bust, velvet accents, pointed collar and structured shoulders exude a powerful commanding femme-fatale silhouette. Seen on the 1995 runway, on the cover of the March 1995 issue of Vogue Italia, previously featured at the Thierry Mugler "Couturissime" exhibit and held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
